Inventory and Maintenance Technician
- On-site
Job description
Entry-Level Diesel & Parts Technician
Are you a mechanic, automotive tech, lube tech, or shop helper looking for your next big opportunity? Want to level up from basic auto repair into diesel and inventory management? This is your chance!
At Mast Trucking, we’re hiring a hands-on tech who wants to wrench, learn, and grow. No diesel experience? No problem! If you have a solid mechanical foundation, we’ll help you develop advanced skills while also learning parts & inventory management – a critical piece of shop operations.
🔧 What You’ll Do:
✅ Wrench & Repair – Spend 10-15 hours per week doing hands-on maintenance, basic repairs, diagnostics, and servicing.
✅ Parts & Inventory Management – Help track, order, and organize parts to keep our shop running smoothly.
✅ Work Order Management – Ensure accurate records, create work orders, and process oil samples.
✅ Support Shop Operations – Assist with workflow, minimize downtime, and take ownership of key tasks.
🎯 Who We’re Looking For:
✔ At least 2 years of mechanical experience (auto, diesel, trailers, welding, equipment, or similar).
✔ Someone eager to learn – We don’t need a diesel expert, just someone who wants to grow.
✔ Detail-oriented & proactive – This isn’t a job where you wait to be told what to do.
✔ A self-starter – You’ll have support, but you need to handle daily tasks without micromanagement.
✔ Physically capable – This job requires standing, lifting, and working in a hands-on environment.
🚀 Why Join Mast Trucking?
✅ Consistent Hours – No unpredictable schedules.
✅ Career Growth – Expand your mechanical skills while gaining experience with inventory, show workflows and operations
✅ Supportive Team – Work alongside an experienced team here to teach
📢 Ready to take the next step? Apply today and start building a long-term career in a high-demand industry!
