Job description

Diesel & Parts Technician

Whether you’re an experienced mechanic or someone with a solid mechanical foundation ready to grow, this role offers the chance to expand your skills in diesel maintenance and shop operations. We’re looking for a hands-on tech who wants to wrench, learn, and take ownership of critical shop tasks. You’ll work closely with our team of skilled mechanics, playing a key role in keeping the shop running smoothly by managing parts inventory, creating work orders, and supporting efficient repairs. Whether you're looking to sharpen your skills or take the next step in your career, we’ll support your growth every step of the way.

🔧 What You’ll Do:

Wrench & Repair – Spend 10-15 hours per week doing hands-on maintenance, basic repairs, diagnostics, and servicing.
Parts & Inventory Management – Help track, order, and organize parts to keep our shop running smoothly.
Work Order Management – Ensure accurate records, create work orders, and process oil samples.
Support Shop Operations – Assist with workflow, minimize downtime, and take ownership of key tasks.

🎯 Who We’re Looking For:

At least 2 years of mechanical experience (auto, diesel, trailers, welding, equipment, or similar).
Someone eager to learn – We don’t need a diesel expert, just someone who wants to grow.
Detail-oriented & proactive – This isn’t a job where you wait to be told what to do.
A self-starter – You’ll have support, but you need to handle daily tasks without micromanagement.
Physically capable – This job requires standing, lifting, and working in a hands-on environment.

🚀 Why Join Mast Trucking?

Consistent Hours – No unpredictable schedules.
Career Growth – Expand your mechanical skills while gaining experience with inventory, show workflows and operations
